I'm getting close to finishing the restoration. I have sold most of my household stuff and have started to say good by to friends. Living in the north west has been a good experience, but it's time to go back south. To quote a song "where the weather suites my clothes". It's been a long time coming. I want to be on the road by October 1st. and work my way south to Phoenix AZ. to see my family. Take care of medical needs, and start exploring the US. This page is the beginning of me sharing my travels with you. As it progresses you will see where I go, and meet people I meet along the way. I will be writing about the places I stay, the accommodations and what there is to do in the surrounding area.
I look forward to meeting as many of my readers as I can.
Soon I will add a link so you can reach me, and hopefully share the experience of life on the road.

With only 15 days left, I'm behind schedule. But I will leave on time. Over the last few days I got the ceiling in, and have started applying the finish. (look for pisc's soon) I wont get to paint the coach before heading out. So I will do that in Phoenix.
My cats are getting restless. They know something's up. The house is empty and they know we are moving. What they don't know is they will be moving for the rest of there lives. (SHOCK)

Sept. 25
The last few weeks have been hectic. Long hours, little sleep, and to much work. But I am almost ready to hit the road.
It's down to the list now...
All the cosmetics wont be done, but that will give me some thing to do when I get to Phoenix. The drive there will be like a vacation from all the work to get this new life on the road.

Oct. 5 All packed and ready for the shack down trip to Spokane WA. First stop is Battery Systems to get new batteries to run all the on board stuff. I had made arrangements with Mike for this purchases. Mike was unavailable, however JD and Bryan took very good care of me. My thanks go out to all the team, for there outstanding service.
I will spend the night at Sun Tree RV Park. Checked in at 6:30 with Marcy Connolly. The park was very clean and quiet. Got a good nights sleep, and hit the road in the morning.
