Oct. 7 I spent last night at the KOA in Missoula MT. It was a nice
clean park, but they put me in a space right next to a school bus barn.
??? what time do they get up? Woke up to school buses starting at 5:30
AM. !!! Not good!!!
I got to Dillon MT. mid afternoon had a burger and got gas. About 10
miles down the road, a fuel line sprung a leak. Did a temp fix in the
snow and made it to the Snake River Good Sam's RV park in Idaho Falls to
spend the night.

Oct. 8 My stay at Snake River RV Park was very nice. Was checked in by a Gal with a great smile named Liz. Had a good nights sleep. Now it's back on the road.

Oct 8 I just got off I-15 in Springville, UT. and just went through the worst road work I have ever gone through. From north of Salt Lake City. I will spend the night at East Bay RV park. Nice clean park, but the streets are narrow and the showers are very poorly vented.

Oct 9 The cats got me up at 5am. Way to early. Headed to Wall Mart, then back on the road.

Oct 9 I made it as far as exit 188 on I-15 and a rear wheel bearing froze up. Will stay in Scipio. The nice lady at the Scipio Hotel let me use the internet. Tomorrow the mechanic will be open to get it fixed.

Oct 11 The mechanic opened it up and the failed bearing destroyed the rear end. He is hunting for a replacement. This may run as high as $2000. Everyone at J & K Diesel Service have gone out of there way to help. We should have a better idea of what to do today.
I have had the privilege to get to know the owners of the Scipio Hotel, Melanie and Clint Conder. They are wonderful people, that have shown concern about the gravity of misfortune.

Oct 13 Well it's back together. I can not say enough good about the way the people here in Scipio UT. have treated me. Even the people at the gas stations have been nice. These are truly people that live life and give back to it the way we all dream that things should be. They will always hold a space in my heart...

Oct 15 I arrived in Quartzsite AZ. late afternoon. I was so hot and tired I was seeing spots. The cats were lying on the floor dehydrated from the heat. I thought I was going to lose them. I puled in the Ameri-can Trails RV Park, and was greeted by Dave the manager. I met his wife the next morning 'Vennie'. Very nice people. Now I am off to Mesa AZ.
Oct 17 I finally got to Mesa AZ. where my dad lives, yesterday afternoon. This has been the most expensive trip ever. However I have met the most wonderful people. The people in Scipio UT. were so kind, I was overwhelmed.
I need to modify my plans due to spending so much. I have decided to stay in the Phoenix area for the winter. That way I can finish the coach and trailer. Well I will let you know where and what I am doing soon.

Nov 12 Well I got set up in a park in Apache Junction AZ. I am going to stay put here for the winter. I still have work to do on the motor home. Something happened to the refrigerator, So I had to get a small back up fridge. All the other components have worked well.
